Our service to rescue pets starts with the Take Me Home Pet Rescue North Carolina foster families.
The North Carolina network of volunteers are the first line of defense! These loving volunteers save pets straight from high kill shelters and bad situations.
Our New York volunteers continue to care for and find forever homes for these animals.

The $450 Dog Adoption Fee covers:
Spay/Neuter
Age Appropriate Vaccinations
Fecal Test
Heartworm Test (if applicable)
Transport

We need 2 - 5 days to process applications. Please remember, we are a 100% volunteer run rescue organization. We promise to reach out to you as soon as possible! Your approved application is good for up to one year!!!
Cats & kittens are occasionally available for adoption. The adoption fee is $200.

We at Take Me Home Pet Rescue are all volunteers from North Carolina and New York who rescue animals from high kill shelters and bad situations. Our animals are placed in loving foster homes until their forever home is found. We depend entirely on volunteers, donations and adoptions fees. If you would like to foster and help save lives with us, please fill out a foster application.
Foster responsibilities include:
- Bathing
- Feeding
- Crating while you are not home
- Taking pictures
- Meeting adopters
- Lots of love!
Take Me Home Pet Rescue provides:
- Crate

- Healthcare
- Leash
- Collar and Harness
- Support
Fosters are responsible for your dog until s/he finds a forever home.
We arrange any and all meets and work with you and your schedule to make connections.
